To commemorate their second anniversary, Yelp!BR is hosting its second annual Yappy Halloween Run on October 30th, 2011. The Halloween weekend event is taking place from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the LSU Vet School, and will highlight a 1 mile costume stroll and 5k race through the LSU campus.

"Last year was a great start and turnout for our first event of this kind, but we're excited about the growth and additions we have in store for this year's run," says Event Co-Chair Lauren Reeb.

In addition to the 1 mile fun run and 5k, there will also be a dog adoption, pet costume contest, children's village, sponsor booths, food, and beverages.

"We know there are a ton of dog lovers in Baton Rouge, and we hope they will show their support and come out to have a great time with their dogs and kids," says Reeb. "We're expecting to double our numbers from last year, and really make this a special annual event for our area."
