Two starved and burned horses from Summerville are now finding a new home with Willie Nelson.

The horses were signed over from their owner Dwight McCloud of Summerville. The horses were severely underfed to the point of starvation.

One of them, named Whisper had burns on its back after kerosene was used to treat rainrot.

The horses have been in the care of learn, a horse rescue farm in Meggett ever since.

However, learn is only a temporary shelter, and these two obviously needed a new forever home, that is where Willie Nelson steps in, after being contacted by WCBD-TV in Charleston, South Carolina he has agreed to adopt the horses.
