Surfs up to find the best pooch in California
NBC NATIONAL NEWS — The search was on for the perfect pooch to represent the best dog for riding the waves.
More than 200 dogs came to the auditions in California on Thursday, Nov. 17. Canines waited to hang ten for the judges in a 70-foot long wave pool.
The most talented dogs will get to ride on the popular ocean-themed float in the Rose Parade.
The float holds seven thousand gallons of water and waves just for the pooch to practice his surfacing skill. It's also the worlds longest and heaviest float.
