NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A two-month-old puppy in California is recovering after being picked up by a hawk.

This puppy fell almost 30 feet after a hawk swooped down, picked up the pooch, but then dropped it a few moments later.

A seven-year-old boy was playing in his back yard when he looked down and saw a puppy at his feet.

The boy has now named the puppy “T.J. Heavenly”.
