NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A mama bear and her two cubs are content with just hanging around in a Los Angeles area neighborhood.

The three bears have taken up residence in a tree. They have been there since this morning.

Authorities have closed off the street near the tree, hoping the bears will leave on their own accord.

Officials say it is a common sight to spot wildlife in the area because the town is near a forest.
