Keepers at the Prague Zoo in the Czech Republic have stepped in to save a baby Gorilla who was rejected by its mother.

The video attached to this story was provided by the Prague Zoo. It shows a Gorilla named Bikira giving birth for the first time on Tuesday, Nov. 8 during the afternoon. But shortly after the delivery, she walked away and didn't return to her newborn.

Keepers stepped in and retrieved the baby and put it in an incubator to keep it warm, while veterinarians checked it out. The director of the Prague Zoo says the baby's chances of survival are good.
