Lauren Unger

Lauren Unger is an anchor/ reporter for NBC 33 News at 5, 6, &10pm.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Dual Major in Political Science and Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. She also minored in German and speaks it fluently.

Before joining the NBC 33 News team, she worked as an anchor/reporter for WZBN in Trenton, New Jersey and worked behind the scenes for Dateline, NBC Nightly News and the Today Show. She also worked in Baden Baden, Germany as a guest anchor on the German Saturday morning news show Das Ding.

She enjoys reading, playing guitar and singing. Lauren currently resides in Baton Rouge and is engaged to Jason Fisher.
