Cole Wright

Before making a career of covering sports, Cole made a name for himself on the diamond. He played minor league baseball in the Frontier League for the Rockford Riverhawks and also played for Martin College in Tennessee.
The Joliet, Illinois native graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. Before joining NBC 33, Cole was a weekend sports anchor at KETK in Tyler, Texas and at KLST in San Angelo, Texas.
His favorite sports are golf and baseball. In his spare time, he enjoys listening to music, collecting DVDs, and cheering on the Chicago Cubs. Since moving to Louisiana, Cole spends his time playing on the local golf courses, eating crawfish, and supporting the Baton Rouge area sports teams.
Cole Wright can be seen every weeknight during the 5, 6 and 10pm newscasts.
