Rachel Slavik

Rachel Slavik joined the WVLA team in August of 2007 after working in the frozen tundra of Duluth, MN. Her hard work and dedication led her to attain the Eric Sevareid Award for feature reporting. Rachel earned her journalism degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but she’s already rooting on the Tigers (different conference after all).

In her spare time, you’ll find Rachel training for her next marathon or brushing up on her guitar skills. The other hobby that takes up a lot of her time….trying all the great southern food!
